there's currently 20 thrembillion lurkers just waiting for someone else to post first
Do you guys wanna set this as swinny 2 with more moralgodding and less rulecucking?

There seem to be conflict about secapedia and they be calling everyone hunky for calling it out.

I think there's some foreign influence on jswinny, it feels like a small group of corders or grammers trying to take advantage. For here yeah do whatever I like that it's got looser rules, got places where I can post snca that trvest oldsvveens don't care for
Replies: >>4129 >>4133

I haven't noticed that, can you elaborate?

Really strange, I remember when the swinny was like very anti-chinny, for some reason the nu-swinny or atleast the recent one seems to be in a conflict between those who are "anti-chinny" but wants to keep the link, and the other side who are obviously anti-chinny.

I think the main thing is that some swinny mods are simping for ai to a degree a trendchaser could only dream of. As nice as they may be and as much as they care about their community I think a lot of people see that as a red flag and develop fears of a second site armegeddon
Replies: >>4135
>>4134
Vibecoding is okay, but I don't like how they're larping as divine coders who know everything when they obviously vibecoded, theres need to be a sort of accountability and transparency when it come how they focus on coding projects.
Replies: >>4136 >>4140
>>4135
I miss when /j/ wasn't hidden and the community was polled on site changes. A lot of unnecessary drama could have been avoided if they just kept that up.
Replies: >>4137

I don't think swedes understand that secapedia is primarly controlled by swinny jannies, hell even the owner of secapedia is a swinny janny (or was, if i'm not up with the facts)
Replies: >>4138
>>4137
I didn't, I thought SECApedia was just a new name for SNCApedia until someone posted a link
Replies: >>4139
>>4138
SECApedia was suppose to be a sort of a joke name, it only exist because sncapedia has yet been on the clear net and due to the fact its being ran by a sharty jannycorder, the problem is that there is a conflict in how they manage things.

Swede jannies are not transparent about the fact one of their moderator owns secapedia, if they told every swede that fact, it would cause some civil war, so they rather anonymously fag and defend the chinny link for the sake of "documenting" when they can obviously document without linking the site link.
Replies: >>4143
>>4135
I'd say they should have a git but I have yet to add that myself.
Replies: >>4141 >>4145
>>4140
why would they open a git if that would expose their vibecodin'?
Replies: >>4142
>>4141
So people can correct their bugs quicker.
Replies: >>4144
>>4139
I don't get why it would cause a civil war, but couldn't you just tell everyone? It's not against the rules and if the jannies for some reason banned you for it then it really would cause a swivel war because it would be obvious overstepping
Replies: >>4146
>>4142
@claude stop fucking this shit up and fix all my vibecoding you faggot
Replies: >>4147
>>4140
Wouldn't that make them more vulnerable to potential bad actors?
Replies: >>4148

>It's not against the rules and if the jannies for some reason banned you for it then it really would cause a swivel war because it would be obvious overstepping
you don't seem realise like majority of swede users are already jannies by now and the rest worship them (for mostly good reason)

the thing is that they decided to change their mindset and took the opportunity (who wouldn't?) to basically do whatever they want as long they can censor it

they sorta adopted the sharty method but in a more hidden way

If they don't know what commit /pull request changes mean that are provided to them
>>4146
i mean they basically called everybody against the chinny link a "hunky" to you know force that mentality and idea that people who are against it are somehow the "biggest whiner" or downplay what the chinny does by comparing to other splintercuck
Replies: >>4152
>>4133
it's likely some chinny users attempting to influence the site for ill or boon, >>>/swinny/b/1529 was definitely made by a chinnycuck imo
Replies: >>4153
>>4146
snopes? I have noticed that a lot of nuusers have been applying for janny which I don't like but I haven't noticed anything implying nefarious janny cord behavior, though I wouldn't be surprised if there is some sort of janny cord since they seem to have a lot more inside convos than they used to. Also don't know how true it is that almost everyone's a janny
>>4149
I thought by now a hunky is a form of endearment. Idk what you whippersnappers say half the time
>>4150
Well its seem like a terrible timeline for a site to fall off its grace so quickly. I mean think about it, the failtrolls have found the swinny via soybooru (likely), it would make sense for them to change the perspective around here.

What about the OG admins like noir and DC doe? Surely they would notice this subterfuge and try to prevent it?
