about 45 days ago the shemmy was hacked. as a consequence, the swinny switched to jschan - the same engine that this site and averi.foo use. quote JSID for a few days while setting up integrity v3 (which logs your keystrokes and mouse movement), and is now LARPing as a nuadmin named "salt". the shemmy is still down, and they claim they're going to come back up with a new engine developed specifically for it. what else? there have been multiple jannycord leaks from the sharty showing that they are all furry tranny gooners who erp on da 'cord. grass is also green. splinters are gaining pph, and the sharty is bleeding users. time will tell if this trend holds

also, while the shemmy and swinny were down, this site was used as a bunker for both imageboards. that is how i was introduced to it, as well as many other of the new users here. this site is can be seen as the bridge between averi.foo and the swinny, in a way. it uses the averi.foo version of jschan, and you can also access this site by hitting the [ squirrel ] URL in the navbar on the swinny.

i suspect you are right. making an imageboard engine is no small task. their motivation to avoid embarassment after promising not to abandon the site will probably not be sufficient for them to finish the project. that is just my guess - although they claim otherwise on their chinny bunker, and claim that they are working on it.
