>This is a burner account :P I'm MTF transgender, I transitioned when I was a kid, went on hormone blockers around 12, went on hormones as a teenager, got surgery as a teenager. Since I moved away from home a couple years ago I've been living as stealth. None of my friends in my new city know that I am trans and I'm a content creator and I don't talk about it publicly. I've done my best to erase my digital footprint from when I was out as a teenager, but I'm sure there are some crumbs I left.
>The other day I went on a first date with a guy, we'd never met before, and within a couple minutes of sitting down at this restaurant, he asks me why I didn't disclose that I was transgender. I was shocked and asked if he was assuming this based on my appearance, and he said yes. I left the restaurant and went home and haven't been able to stop thinking about this for days!
>He was a really rich AI guy and my mom's theory when I told her the story is that he ran a background check on me and somehow found the public record of my name change or gender marker change, or found some part of my digital footprint I missed. My one friend who I'm out to (who is also trans) thinks he was just an expert clocker.

But I never thought it was something you could guess with absolute certainty from looking at me. I have a stronger jawline but its the same as the other women in my family, and I'm pretty flat chested but I'm pretty skinny in general. I've had a few videos go viral, and i get a lot of hate comments in relation to my ethnicity and the way I dress but never a transphobic comment. I have trans friends in my new city who say things that make it very clear they don't think I'm trans. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has a similar experience or I wanted to share this story because I haven't been able to tell many people..
